The Founder:
Keith White
The Founder, Keith A.C. White of DGSA-CPC Limited, has been involved in all aspects of Transport for over 30 Years, from being an O Licence Signatory for an International Transport Company to running a Varied Fleet of Trucks from Tippers to High Value Artic Vehicles.
Over 20 of those years experience have been with Dangerous Goods.
Some key experiences are summarised below:
- Extensive experience of International European Freight, including High Consequence Dangerous Goods, High Value Load and European "Just in Time" Contract movements, National and International Radioactive movements, including NISR Category III materials.
This experience from the physical perspective and the Organisational perspective.
17 Years working in Continental Transport in mainland Europe and Scandinavia.
- Represented 'Cavewood Transport' on Midlands Today Television discussing the Schengenland Agreement on the impact for UK drivers for the EEC Documentary Changes, and has represented Cavewood Transport at NEC, Donnington Park and SECC Glasgow Exhibitions, Transport Shows and Universities with the Cavewood Guy Warrior and Citroen Rosalie Show Vehicles.
- Extensive experience of Dangerous Goods Paperwork, International Driver Paperwork and work allocation, Procedure Writing, Depot Security Issues, High Value load issues
- Responsible for Site Security for an International Transport Company Depot. (Details can be provided on request)
- Responsible for the successful transfer from manned security to a remotely monitored Security system, including swipe card, warehouse alarm and cctv installations, and security guard Management procedures.
- Experience of Notifying to European Countries and securing the licences for the transport of Radioactive Goods to and through their countries, including Eastern European States.
- Nominated as trainer for Staff and drivers at Geodis in matters of Dangerous Goods, Nuclear Standard Driver Training, the New Drivers Hours Regulations, 561/2006, the German Toll Collect System, Warehouse Dangerous Goods Systems including Spill Procedures, and training of Company Security Procedures, and Health & Safety Issues.
- Appointed Health & Safety Coordinator for the site and was the sole Midland area site contact.
- Ran a traffic operation for 10 rigid vehicles on distribution, the vehicles collectively doing on average 200 stops a day, using the TAS Computer System.
